The Western Cape Paediatric Practitioner's Group is a non-profit organisation that strives to support and empower its group of paediatric occupational therapists, through sharing of knowledge and experience within the profession and affiliated disciplines.

OUR SERVICES
We run various meetings during the year, with interesting speakers that present on topics of interest in the paediatric private practice and we apply for CPD accreditation for these presentations. We also run a job seeker/vacancies list for those looking for or wanting to be employed in the Occupational Therapy Private Practice in the Western Cape. Please feel free to contact us for any requests. We also have an occupational therapy directory for the members.

The Health Professions Council
of South Africa (HPCSA)
The Health Professions Council of South Africa (HPCSA) is a statutory body, established in terms of the Health Professions Act, 1974 (Act 56 of 1974). The Council, in conjunction with its 12 Professional Boards, is committed to promoting the health of the population, determining standards of professional education and training, and setting and maintaining excellent standards of ethical and professional practice.
The Occupational Therapy Association of South Africa (OTASA)
OTASA is a non-profit professional organisation representing the interests of occupational therapists and occupational therapy assistants across South Africa. It is affiliated with the World Federation of Occupational Therapy (WFOT). OTASA aims to support, promote and represent the profession of occupational therapy as a key element of the allied health services in South Africa.
